How we work
An access system is not a box you buy — it is an arrangement you will maintain for the next five years. Four things we do on every project.
Survey first, equipment second
Lane slope, door weight, cable routes and power sources decide whether a system actually works. We survey before quoting and, where needed, test with real vehicles and real foot traffic.
Drawings and rules agreed up front
Architecture, door schedules, permission matrices, lane flow and tariff rules are confirmed in writing before work starts — fewer arguments after handover.
Phased works, routes kept open
Only one entrance or door group is closed at a time, with temporary readers and signage. Car parks run off-peak, schools during holidays, office lobbies at weekends.
Documents, not just hardware
Test reports, as-built drawings, port schedules, training and maintenance plans are handed over — so you can add doors, change permissions or appoint another contractor without being locked in.
Compliance, written into the drawings
Fire safety and escape routes
Escape doors release on fire alarm and stay open. Interlock method, fail-safe versus fail-secure and power-failure behaviour are documented and physically tested.
Personal data and face recognition
Card, PIN or desk-assisted alternatives always remain. Templates are encrypted, retention is defined, deletion can be evidenced, and we prepare the collection statement with you.
Electrical and site safety
Fixed electrical work is carried out by licensed electrical contractors and qualified personnel. Controllers and racks are UPS-backed; outdoor positions consider lightning, water and earthing.
Insurance and contracts
Contracts, insurance and warranty documents are issued in the company name, with project-specific works and public liability cover provided on request.
